Rehearsals are under way for the Fall '09 Hollow Tree Players of Ligonier's play - Sleeping Beauty! We are excited to have some new members to the group and glad that a few past members are back on the stage. Our wonderful President, Melissa, adapted the story to fit our needs and Rita, Beauty's Director, is taking the bull by the horns - or the rose by the thorns - to make the whole thing come alive!
Public performances are Saturday, November 21st at 7:00 pm & Sunday, November 22nd at 2:00 pm at Ligonier Town Hall on the Diamond. A $3 (children) - $5 (adult) seat donation is suggested with all proceeds going to local children in need or local charities.
We are also continuing our school group performances. Please encourage your school principal, PTA and teachers to bring your children to visit us! This year we are offering:
(W) 11.18.09 @ 10 am
(TH)11.19.09 @ 10 am & 1:15 pm
(F) 11.20.09 @ 10 am
Any questions - feel free to shoot me an email @ hollowtreeplayers@comcast.net.
I will be posting pictures as things progress!

Practice continues...
We currently practice two nights a week - two hours per night. Closer to the show dates, we increase practice times to allow for sets, staging, make up and costume "bugs" to be worked out.
There are so many things to do within the group...not just being on stage! Lights, sets, costumes, general organizing, back stage help, marketing, reservations... the list could go on! Please do not hesitate to join our group - even if the stage is not for you!
